Hi All,

 

Looking forward to reading up on some of your tips and tricks and applying some that work for myself on the west coast of Vancouver Island.  Have taken many folks our fishing from Ontario and definitely compare techniques and learn different effective fishing methods that can be applied in fresh or saltwater.  I look forward to contributing and reading!

Thanks for the welcoming, Ucluelet certainly is a great place to live if your an outdoors man.  Great fresh and saltwater fishing out this way.  Yes I do charter out of Ucluelet winter fishing is okay but come June 15 - Sept 10 the lines light up big time.  This year they upped the max halibut size to 133cm which translates to approx 70lbs so I'm pretty happy about that.  We certainly have lucked out this year weather wise very mild no snow and a fair amount of sunshine.  Sounds like the east has had a tough winter so far.  Any of you fish the Great Lakes?  Have a great day all!
