Orvis is offering a selection of 20 popular trout flies for $9.95, including shipping. One offer per household.
Great deal for those who don't tie and want a good selection of useful flies.

i bet its free shipping to the US only, since Orvis caters to US only, even in there free give away saying theres complex legal issues preventing them from including Canada, meanwhile computer companies do world wide give aways.

its a good deal at $0.50 a fly, but I would rather give my money to a Canadian company like reelflies

Shipping is free to Canada as well. The Canadian selection of flies is a bit different because of restrictions on importing certain feathers, so a few substitutions are made.

I will second the referral to ReelFlies, nice flies for a great price, and Canadian to boot.

I bought those flies last year, my favorite fly last year was in that selection.

No tech skills, so I won't try to post a link. But if you search orvis 9.95 flies, it will bring it up. Not trying to suggest that you support Orvis instead of Reelflies...just putting a good deal out there. Apparently, a little info. pack comes along with the flies, making suggestions for presentation etc.. Again, something helpful, especially for beginners.

found it now, im curious as to what ones are excluded due to apparent import laws, does that mean we as Canadians can't tie that pattern since we don't have access to those feathers?  kind of a weird grey area there

I would agree its a decent selection to point beginners in the right direction as to what flies to use, add in a couple more patterns and you would be pretty set, would just need to have more than one of each fly in your box :P

Think the offer your talking about is the one on the fishing network on free preview with Rogers! Cheers!! Good fly's. A bang for your buck.
