I was hoping you tip over hahaha
lol well that's not very nice. If that were to happen I could lose well over $1000 in gear and phones.

PFD is right infront of me below the camera, in the first video i'm sitting on it. I'm on Simcoe, its been perfect conditions the past few weekends but it can change very quickly. Is it a fishing dingy or just a cheap recreational one? I think you could fish out of it in a few spots where it gets deep close to shore. Typical depth is around 100', ive seen people talking about getting them in shallow water this time of year but I tried a few spots and didnt mark any lakers. You really need a sonar for this style of fishing though but you could have a blast in your dingy on cooks bay going for perch, the off pike and bass once it opens.

I have a fishing dingy. Dubbed the Fish Hunter 360. I made several mods that are absolutely sick (in my opinion lol). Would love to share, guess I have to make a post myself...
I am pretty terrified when manning ship alone so I'm not sure about 100 FOW but cooks bay sounds right up my alley. lol.

Share away in here if you want. It looks like a sweet ride, if you pick up a sonar i'm sure you would be fine in the deep water close to shore. Just don't go out too far and only go on calm days.

Awesome share. Great fish for sure.
I know some people here in AK that go out in the ocean with a kayak and catch kings and halibut. Catch a beast halibut and you are going for a ride.
Even in the lakes the kayak scares me.....lol Nice job.

lol who is this guy?
Thanks AK, I can only imagine what a beast like a halibut would be like in a kayak. Next species on my kayak list is Chinook Salmon.

Lol nado...a 35lb chinook will have the horsepower to pull you for a nice run. How clear is simcoe btw? Lake O is clearing up now and have seen lots of gators swimming by the shallows. and OOS bass should be in season already. they keep beating the pikes to the lures...

you are supposed to be wearing a pfd at all times in a yak!
Transport Canada website states that it has to be on board and easy to reach.

i've never looked it up, just went off of what I was told but I was told that it just has to be within reach. I can't see the logic behind making it mandatory to be worn at all times on a kayak but on a boat that is capable of travelling at high speeds they just have to be on board. If anything happens at my top travelling speed of 3-4mph I should have no issue getting to the life jacket.
