Sup all, Stumbled on this site last night looking for fishing spots for myself and my kids in the east end and decided to make a account. I hit up Bluffers Park today after seeing it on here, and got nothing. I was fishing the east side of the marina, because after 10 mins the kids didn't wanna fish anymore and wanted to hit the beach!  I was fishing for about 2-3 hours various lures. Nadda.

Well anyway cant give up after one go. ill try again tomorrow. Is this a decent time of year there or ... ?

Looking forward to everyones wisdom and advice, Glad to be here.

Welcome to OFF!

I never fished that area before but there has been lots of threads about it.

If you get a chance do a search at the top right hand side of the page...

Bluffs has great pike & carp fishing. You have to know where to fish. If you're fishing the beach area. try the water inside the marina...the closest to the parking lot. cast some spoons towards the docks...do a fast retrieve because if you let your spoon drop too long. you will lose it (snag). Most of my pike was caught in that spot but the bigger ones are outside lake O casting on the big rocks. be careful and I would not recommend taking your kids on the big rocks.
