I never really have used a hut before. I prefer to roam the lake although it does get pretty cold some days. There are some nice portable shelters on the market now. Wow!! You girls take your fishing seriously. Lake simcoe? Those perch look mighty tasty. Really nice go pro work there too. Dont leave home without it!!

I checked out the icefishing page but only 5-6 people seem to post. Mind you, 1 of them is G Pyzer so I guess it's not so bad.
