Hi guys, I know everyone in here cares a great dea about proper handling of fish and sometimes it's a problem when trying to get that great shot of the fish and yourself when your alone, So I thought I'd share a little trick I found last week.

I was at Dollarama and they sell those cell phone holders that suction to your windshield. I have them in my cars and they stick on the windshield strong so I put one on my boat. (This is obviously for those who have windshields or a flat surface to suction the holder to). Anyway I found this neat little remote they sell as well, that bluetooth connects to any iPhone or android. You just put your cell phone in the holder and turn on the camera app. Then whenever you need to take a pic the remote is in your pocket.

It has made snapping pics of my catches so much easier when I'm alone. Here's some pics of the cell phone holder and the remote. Along with a pic I took last weekend with it. Cheers.

good thinking. necessity is the mother of invention. this is the perfect idea for your setup.

i had the same problem but i'm in an inflatable so i got a mini tripod that bends in different shapes and can wrap around stuff. and it has rubber everywhere. so before i start i set that up on a flat surface like a tackle case or cooler and have my digital camera set on x3 after 10 second delay.

I am hesitant to fish alone for this very reason. With my luck I'd catch the fish of a lifetime and have no proof. Definitely gonna grab one of these!
