Hey guys,

I'm planning on heading out this week and since I do not live close to any of my favourite creeks/rivers, I am asking if anyone has been out recently and if there are any salmon in. If you are uncomfortable with exposing it to the forum, I would greatly appreciate a message. Thank you all and tight lines.

They're all over... I'm doing some "soul searching" myself this morning to see how everyone else's weekened was. I was on an eastern trib harbour all weekend. Saturday was very busy, with lots of action from 6am-8am, with Sunday and Monday producing very little, and no fish. Me, personally had my first salmon hit a spoon in my life, which is literally awesome. I can't wait to get another one. This time I'll be better prepared with fresh line, and sharper hooks ;)

Was out and about and they have been running in small numbers all over the East. Its still been pretty hot out to go target them in the rivers. The piers, like everyones saying are really heating up. I need to get out there myself soon

I went out "East" today on one of my favourite tribs, there were plenty of them in the water. I was talking to a local and he said there were none on Sunday and they all came in the other day. Overall, the fish were hitting good once I found the right hole. There is going to be a show this weekend with the amount of people.

Hit and miss right now. They will be in thick 'soon'...

Keep an eye on the hydrometric data.

I've been catching for 2 weeks now out east, nothing major but I've managed at least a couple each time out. Definitely no "run" yet but if you know what you're doing there's a chance of hooking one. Some rivers have more than others but after a little exploring you'll figure it out ;)

I'd say a trickle or a drizzle but not a major run, but maybe 1 more big rain will bring them in. Spotted 5 in a pool way up north when i had my afternoon walk today.
