hey folks! Been a while since I've posted just mainly been on monitoring the forum. On August 9th I fished the Canadian Collegiate Bass Anglers tournament which is a part of the FLW and I have to say it was quite the experience. I won't go into full detail but I basically ran all over Georgian bay looking for smallmouth but could not find them. Within the last hour and a half of the 8 hour tournament I pulled out my flipping stick which is what I am most comfortable using and managed to squeeze in a 2nd place finish with a prize for biggest largemouth. Everyone else managed to find good smallmouth but not enough to beat my largies! I would gladly take 2nd with largies over a bag of smallmouth aha.

Wow. Had no idea FLW operates in Canada too. I have downloaded a bunch of their shows on youtube including some US college stuff. Good to see there's a college championship here too.

Good looking fish.

Thanks guys! It was a battle to find fish but once I went back into my comfort zone it paid off. Best advice I ever had from someone was 1. Stick to your strengths 2. Don't listen to anyone but yourself

The college event is a 3 fish limit and the biggest one there was 5.2 pounds and my limit was 10.30 for 3 fish. I had one really small one I could not get rid of to put me in first.
