Caught this nice hen a couple weeks ago, on a Huron trib early morning. Chartreuse 8mm bead/pink peg, and a 2" Berkeley pink worm. Didn't weight it but if I had a guess, prob about 5-6lbs. Feels good to wash the skunk off. :)

Great shot - judging from the look on your face you had a wild time the night before.

Nice fish.
Did it bite the bead or the worm??
Or do you just use the bead as an attractor?

Well I use the bead as an attractor. This fish has a perfect hook set in the upper lip. I have caught fish with just the pink worm as well, no bead. I usually run the bead like 2 inches from the hook.

Thx I was just curious. They way i was taught is to have the bead and a hook then about a ft below have the bag n hook.
It really is amazing how many fish bite the bead.

Ive seen a lot of pics lately where guys use em like you, just as an attractsnt above the bag. I just wonder how many fish you miss because they bit the bead and you cant hook them???
