Received it recently from a friend who purchased it years back intending to start fly fishing, but decided it wasn't for him. Comes with a nylon "sock" and a proper sized aluminum rod tube, though the latter was originally paired with a Fenwick Woodstream.
Already have a 9', 6 wt medium-fast action fly rod, as well as a 8', 5 wt med action, so would like to trade the Fenwick for:
a) a 9', 5 or 4/5 wt, two or four piece, medium action fly rod - if you don't have a tube or case for your rod, will only trade for a 4 pc;
or
a 9' or 9' 6", 8 or 7/8 wt, med action fly rod - don't care if 2 or 4 pc, but rod must have a good "fighting butt". Okay if rod is a bit scuffed, so long as blank, guides, ferrules, handle, reel seat, etc in good shape. Please, no rods with repaired blanks, guides, handle, etc.
Not expecting anything super high quality cuz I know the Black Hawk is an older model (but some may be interested just cuz it was made in Canada and is in great shape) - just a rod of better quality than the kind found in starter sets.
Will, of course, require photos, brand, & model # before setting up a meeting.
Willing to meet halfway in the GTA at a Tim's to make the trade (I live close to where the 401 & 400 intersect in Toronto).
