Hi, I was over and I didn't see any steelhead caught but I landed 4 lakers. Got one about 7 lb or so. Helluva fight!
The water looks good, but I have only been a handful of times so I'm not an authority on that.
Beautiful day to be out.

Don't worry, NiagaraSteel, helping someone find the trail to the bottom end isn't giving away any of your secrets.

You mentioned a specific drift! If naming rivers isn't allowed on this forum, then the niagara should be treated the same! It may be a big looking river but spots are limited and this crap is screwing up all rivers these days.

Grow up. I was wondering where the trail to pebbly beach was, I didn't say I was fishing there. You're having a tantrum over nothing. Giving general info is screwing up all the rivers these days? HA that's a good one. Aside from how to find my way, everything I learned about that river came from the internet, not from people giving away secrets. Stop trying to pretend the Niagara is your special spot.

You're still naming a specific spot. If you had PMed me, I would have been glad to help. The rules on this forum (for good reason) says no naming rivers. Whether you fished it or not, naming spots is on a whole nother level, especially on an open forum. The niagara is certainly no secret, but if I can educate 1 more person to be a bit more aware before they post a photo with backgrounds, fish out of water, OOS laker, etc, then this was worth my time.

Truthfully if it was that much of an issue why hasn't an admin chimed in, lol.

lmao I don't feel I own any spot. Just have seen what social media can do.Nothing better than a guy who thinks they "own" a public fishing spot/drift, you have way too much time on your hands to worry about other people fishing Niagara. It's a huge body of water, and everyday is different there. Regardless what's posted, shouldn't stop you from catching fish...
Slickrick i lmao at that comment too!

You would have been better off to leave it alone, and not whine about it*

@Trev, I apologize if I put you in the "spot light" for asking how the spot was doing! I should have not repeated the name of the river.
That being said, If anyone would like to share some tips or have advice for fishing the Niagara, I am more than accepting of PMs!
Regards,
