Hey guys, I'm new to the forums here. I just decided I would introduce myself with a post about my fly fishing experience thus far. I started fly fishing this summer and I am absolutely hooked! The excitement and happiness that fly fishing has brought me is unimaginable. In fact, this summer I had the best day of fishing in my entire life which was also one of the best days of my life. It was my 3rd time fly fishing and I decided to try nymphing after watching a few videos. I decided to give the "prince nymph" a go and I am glad I did. It was hit after hit; fish after fish. Within about 2 hours I caught about 21 brown trout, 2 of which were over 20 inches! Here are a few pictures of that day. One of the big brown trouts I caught had weird eyes popping out... Does anyone know what was wrong with it? Anyways, I am happy to see that these forums exist and hoping that maybe I will be able to fish with some of you members of this forum. Thanks!

And nice subie btw. My last 3 cars have been subarus. Driving a wrx right now and have loved it the last 4 years.

Ahh the old prince nymph. My go to nymph. Catches a lot of fish that one.

Thanks! yea the prince nymph has been great for me. fell in love with subaru sti ever since I first saw one, and now I finally own one
