Did you catch anything? Size? Conditions?
No need to share location or tactics.

A few shakers and a 3 lber. Definitely a slow day. Water was high but clarity was good. I think with the short winter most fish have dropped back already. At least in the north tribs. Most ppl I talked to said same thing. Little to no luck anywhere

I fished a huron trib this morning and it was pretty dead. I talked to 5-6 others that didn't catch anything on that particular trib either. It was strange, I saw at most 4-5 suckers and no other fish life. Usually there would be a few bass and creek chubs. Water was also surprisingly clear.

East trib was busy. roe was the "meal ticket". My friend caught 20 steels on roe alone. I caught a total of 8 fish on bead, san juan & egg pattern and woolies, suckers are all over the place. the crowd thinned fast as the sun heat up. saw some new anglers who caught their first steels. lots of happy campers. I'm done with steels for now. I'm going to cut down on my gears and probably sell one of my centerpin set up.& 1 fly fishing setup.

I get just as big a kick watching the excitement of someone's first steel as they do.
I was the lone guy drifting pinks.
After my fourth take the whole pool went pink. Lol

Seems like Lake O was good as usual, the Lake Huron tribs (at least two of them) were pretty dead. I might have to make the drive to Lake O sometime.

Met a few young ones who needed some guidance. Was very happy to help and was very prou d when they landed their first steels. Needed some cheering as they fought. These kids seem to lean on CnR fishing so that's a good sign as well. Garbage isn't as bad as last year, again, a good sign. A lot of fish are going to the smoker tonight...have not seen any fish gutted on the bank today. So far a very good day. yesterday my kids did good at the Huck Finn fishing.. Total of 8 brook trout with the biggest at 13.5" took 2 fish home.

Big time skunking out Cambridge way...the water was fast and muddy.  I'm going to try again on Tuesday to see what happens.

Sucker roe? How does that usually work? I could use the suckers for fertilizer too !!! Nice zucchini and bell peppers from garden !!

Went out on a east trib Saturday and went 12 for 18. Started to pick up around noon big time after most anglers left. Average size takers.... Warning fish porn imminent.
