Funny you posted this, I actually bought a leopard printed frog to try out!
I havent used the dollar store version, But I have caught plenty of bass on similar lures!

I would bet those frogs work as good if not better than the most expensive ones at tackle shops.
Fishing those things is fun and slightly more challenging because you're producing all of the action, unlike a jitterbug which has its own action.

Picked up a couple of those frogs a few weeks back. Dollarama officially has a better fishing section than Walmart. Get jealous when I see American Walmart fishing sections.

Got my frogs as well. $3.50 a piece isn't bad. They have wire leaders now too and some swivels.

My local Walmart had a huge selection 4 years ago and it now turned into South Bend everything...smh
