Hi fellow anglers. Nice to meet you all. I've fished for years, offshore mostly. This year I bought a boat and am really excited about it. It's nothing fancy, just a 16' aluminum with a 40 horse, but it has a downrigger and rod holders haha so that's what matters to me!
I live 2 mins from Lake Erie near Selkirk and found the lake pretty frustrating to fish without a boat, some bass and some cats in the creeks was all I ever got. Am looking forward to getting some walleye and perch finally! Know lots of guys with boats, but seems they never want to take a girl on any trips so I figured I'd just get my own boat and outfish them all
Suggestions for good spots on the Grand by Dunnville or by Pt Maitland would always be appreciated if anyone feels like sharing. I'm putting in Sunday and figure I\ll take the Grand out to Maitland and see what I can do.
Cheers and happy fishing all

Welcome to the forum, I won't be much help with fishing from a boat down your way on the grand and Erie. I grew up on the bay of quinte though, so can help you there. Ice fishing is coming up fast, let me know if you have any interest in getting into some whitefish and lakers on simcoe this year and I'll point you in the right direction
