Just got back from a 5 day trip into the French and got me two more trophies for the year.

44" Musky I swear I landed it right on his beak and he smoked it because he was pissed.

15 min fight and he was bigger than the net we had. When he jumped and you saw all 44" in the air, thats when I started shaking and got so nervous. He would casually swim off 10 meters and lay on bottom then we moved the boat closer he would move another 10 and stop fat punk for sure. The pic sucks but it was raining and we were trying to get him back ASAP so sorry about that part. Can't let a giant die just for a better pix.

The Walley was my personal best at 25"

In total I had 36 fish all points (could eat them but let go).

Excellent fishing and both monsters I'm happy to say are still swimming free tormenting little fish.

And a shout out to those self inflating camping pads a new necessity.

5 of diamonds baby!

Love the French , you can def see the difference between a GB/French river walleye Vrs kawartha.....the colours so much more darker.  That cave is awesome prob home to  a bear or pack of wolves + bats
