Got my first Muskie on Pigeon Lake last week. Never even saw one before. Now I know what the fuss is about!

Were you targetting Muskie? What did you catch it on? They are beautiful fish - their heads look so prehistoric and just incredible

Thanks! Yeah we were targeting them. We were casting at first but switched to trolling after the wind picked up. I was using a big perch pattern Rapala Countdown.

And nice red husky jerk on that rod. I'm not sure when they discontinued that colourway.

Oh they did? Any idea of they discontinued orange and gold too? I've been looking for baits in that colour lately...
