Did you know that a person is deemed to be the holder of a Recreational Fishing Licence if they are disabled Ontario and Canadian residents eligible for and in possession of:

A valid Canadian National Institute for the Blind National Identity Card issued to them; or,
a valid Ontario Accessible Parking Permit issued under the Highway Traffic Act;

I had managed to get clarification of Sports or Conservation fishing licences but nothing for a Recreational licence.... until found the above link and right at the very bottom it states

"Those who qualify to fish with a deemed licence must follow the same catch and possession limits as a Sport Fishing Licence".

I wonder how many disabled people out there would consider going fishing if they knew this?

Many disabled people are on fixed incomes, they may think they cant afford a licence to get out and enjoy what a lot of us take for granted.
