Streamside Tranquility is a good rod. I am yet to loose a fish on it since I bought it. Good backbone for a solid hook set and the right amount of give for those big head shakes.
The blue accents my reel perfectly. Also came with a 6 yr warranty. One of the best balanced rods at consumer lvl pricing IMO.
Streamside rods are great rods...CG Emery made actually. I had a steelheader & Tranquility...i like them better than my raven and aventa and price isn't heavy on the pocket.

C.G Emery International.
Rods are made where?
Pakistan , China, Ethiopia?
Sound like a good pre teen learning stick.
Does it matter? a Canadian company carries it. it works to my liking and price is affordable...I don't like the streamside waders not a fan of the vortex float reel either...But the rods is where they excel. At the end of the day...we all are able to continue the hunt for chrome...

I fish a rainshadow xst rated for 6-12lb with a 10lb leader unless i'm on small ditches, that is a heavy setup. The tranquility is rated for 4-8lb line.

Truthfully.
Have never heard of either rod.
What's that tell ya.
That you're not really into steelhead fishing as you think... rainshadow and streamside are both popular brands

Mike's right, they are popular brands. You guys must be cohabitating in a cave.

. The man loves the river and has been doing it for a long time, he’s just a bit old school and does not play with new toys. He should take you out sometime, you would be amazed. That you're not really into steelhead fishing as you think... rainshadow and streamside are both popular brands
