I am planning on hitting the DR next weekend while visiting the in-laws. Just curious how things are looking down that way. Will be putting in at LaSalle and will fish the 'congo line drift' near the salt mine past Fighting Island.

Great day on the water. The LaSalle boat launch was at capacity and there was a pile of boats on the water. The bite was good - I caught 5 and landed 3. Drifted down from the salt mine down to Fighting Island with the other 60 or so boats
