One of the rules of the board is to not mention names of locations you catch fish but almost all creeks that run into Lake Ontario will have them for a little while yet. We all have our fav and not many willing to pass out details. Its not that hard though, walk any creek that has steelhead and there will be paths leading to the known spots. The more successful do off season scouting to find spots the creek has changed. Sorry this isn't narrowing it down for you but you will find them.

There are many creeks and rivers in your area that hold rainbow trout. No one will give up specific trib names or spots. Most of the steelhead will be in there for a few more days and after that there will just be baby rainbows. Another option is to go fishing at a pier and fish spoons and spinner early in the morning. Frenchman's bay is one spot that has a pier.

Migratory fish will eventually flush back to the lake some get stuck in pools and stay for a while. Resi’s are a lot of fun on lite gear but as mentioned above you need to do some leg work. All rivers and streams hold fish all year long.
