Headed out on the lake at 5:30am. Surface temps were 58 degrees and rods started popping in 30fow. Trolled out to 150fow and both rods kept taking turns firing. Nothing huge but plenty. Was a blast of a day. Normally its hard to track these guys from a yak, but they were everywhere today. Laker hit the rigger then right near the end of the battle the other rod fires for a double header... thankfully it was only a little king on the other side or things would have got real interesting.

Hey Chrome, how far out are you from the shore? It was nice and calm yesterday. But water still cold.

I caught a bunch in 40 fow which was within rock throwing distance from shore. Furthest I was on the day was maybe 2 or 3 km. They were everywhere. The water was colder than last week.
