Spent a week in the Kawartha's with my son and grandson . We fished Balsam , Pigeon and Sturgeon lakes . Weather was tough big cold front with 10 mph winds gusting to 18 mph every day . First day it was 75 degrees by Thursday am wind chill of 29 degrees . We boated 9 Muskies saw 22 others from follows and hits several of those were 40" fish . My grandson caught his first Muskie 34 1/2" my son caught the biggest of the week 43" and he won $10 from my grandson and I . Most action was on double 8's and 10's saw most of the big fish on bulldogs and medusala's , we only caught one trolling really rough for that . Here is my son's fish
