Hi,

 

I'm new here and am looking for places to work on my fishing skills before bass season opens.  I've read old posts about these 2 places, but nothing in the last few years.  Does anyone still fish at G Ross Lord or Marita Payne?  Is there still fish there?

No one has fished here in the last few years?  Anyone know if we are still allowed to fish these places?  Any other recommendations in the north Toronto/Richmond Hill/Thornhill areas?

G Ross Lord has very poor water quality and not somewhere I would recommend, it looks nice but it's not a great fishing spot.

I went to Marita Payne today. Tried a few different lures/setups and no bites. Very small body of water, surprised they can survive there. I did see tiny fish/frogs right at the shore in between the rocks. Anyone have success there? What lures/baits did you use?
