Belwood lake dam trout fishing

Looking to head out for some trout tomorrow on the lower part of belwood lake dam. I'm used to fishing Scugog for bass so don't know the regulations for this area very well. Looked through the regs and looks like trout opened today and the dam is good to go. Can anyone confirm this and wether this area is private or part of the conservation area? Thanks!
