[Paul 6 Mile Lake]

I have a cottage by the water. And I have a 10 x 20 floating dock. I am wondering is I can use my boat to push it away from shore and anchor it in the middle of the lake. (Our water body is very shallow (4 to 6feet average). It used to be a channel).

It is crazy I know. But by law, is this allowed?

Anchoring a floating dock in the middle of a lake  in Ontario is generally not permitted without proper authorization or permits from the relevant authorities.
