Apparently my buddy has watched people walk out onto Wilcox for a couple of weeks already.
No clue of the ice conditions there, but good luck!
Hammerhandle Pike, and crappies are in there.

If there is ice, the ice is very new!
Be careful if you're going out there!

Apparently it's been freezing and thawing quite a few times over December.

The plant was always there, the fish are not toxic.
Check the Guide to eating sportfish and you can always CPR if you don't feel safe eating the fish.

There's some big walleye and crappie I got out of there during the bass opener last year!
