Hi just wanted to know what the best way (knot) to tie mono to braided line for salmon fishing, i assuming salmon can see the braided line so dont hit it, and whats the best line to tie to your lure,, thanks what do you guys prefer?

Hi there for the last 3 days i been fishing at a creek mouth and clearly theres monster salmon in there cause the water is clear enough you can see them swimming around and get around 7-8 salmon breaking water in a half hour (no exaggeration) and the thing i like about it the most everytime i been there theres only 2-3 people max,its clearly overlooked. It's frustrating when your throwing lures,spoons,and roe and they aint taking nothing and you have them clearly jumping out of the water-6-7 ft away from you. and just the sheer size of them has me going for hours with nothing. What am i doing wrong? if they ain't actively feeding once in the river mouth why do the take roe? and even the other guys i seen fishing there are getting skunked, any suggestions? using glow in the dark spoons, which i lost got snagged , but used raps,spoons,spinners, and was wondering by using the floating raps does it work? would the hit fish swimming on top of the water or does it have to be one of those sinkers? please any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

When using braided line can i tie it directly to the hook when using roe or is it better to use monofiliment? but when using lures can i just use braided line or same set up as using monofiliment?

Hi there have a quick question does fishing at the mouth's of creeks that empty into lake ontario work the same way as river mouths? Would salmon start gathering up at the mouths of creeks? like highland creek? or it just happens for rivers like credit ,humber etc? thanks any help would be greatly appreciated . Check rouge river still nothing just caught two chubbs. But thats about it. ad nothing at high land creek.

Hi there just got a quick questions when the salmon start coming in river, what lures should i use, was looking at mepps and little cleos size #0,but they had different designs etc, would any #0 size mepps or little cleos work? and with spoons would it have to be the small ones, can i use any floating raps? only got those:( , and i wanna fish the rouge river scouted out some secluded spots and it has some nice small currents that empty into pools, so best bet would be try the pools or the begining of the little currents on the river? thanks any help would be greatly appreciated, 3rd year running for an attempt to catch a salmon but still no luck. thanks look forward to reading your replies.
