I went a few years ago and had a great time but on the first trip we didn't catch anything. The captain said the trips aren't' guaranteed but he took us out for a second trip at no cost, and we hit several. They are no longer in business so looking for another opportunity!

Hi all. First time targeting pike on Georgian Bay. Looking to rent a boat but from the maps i see many areas to launch and several marina's. Appreciate any advice on where to launch from, marina rentals and techniques for this time of year. 

I'm a beginner and looking for a decent spinning setup that will not break the bank. I've read some similar posts and decided to look in to the Shimano Convergence rod, however they don't appear to be made anymore so I'm hoping for some advice on products that are available in the current market. Appreciate any tips!
