[quote name="YAWN"]Used to live on the Pine River, excellent runs of Steel in the spring and salmon in the fall. Used to be able to fish with your hands growing up there was that many.
Moved since but in the later years the runs did start to drop off.

Boyne runs right close by also not as good as the pine in my opinion but both rivers are full of deep pools to target!

I love fishing the Pine just north of Everett. Very Clean water. It's getting harder to find access to rivers like this with all the NO Tresspassing signs on all the private lands. I never fished the Boyne, doesn't look as impressive as the Pine.

I'll be trying the Rouge River this year. There is a fish ladder all the way up at Milne Dam at Markham Road (Hwy. 48) & Hwy 7 in Markham. I know they harvest rainbows from there for the Ringwood fish hatchery. On April 26th you'll be able to fish that whole stretch of river. Please note that there is no fishing 25 Meters from the dam. Good Luck on Saturday everyone.
