In Topic: Is this normal for a rod which is used two times?

I took it back and got a new one, I hope it doesn't happen again. Now I'm looking for a bait caster.

In Topic: Is this normal for a rod which is used two times?

Here's the deal, it's me with my questions again. Well the issue is, I bought a Shimano Compre 6'6" Medium 2 piece rod last week. After using it two times I noticed something was weird with it and it didn't look right. So I'm going to ask you guys what you think about it. The part where it holds the reel is now not in it's original place and causing it to slant in an angle. The top part of the cork is pressed so hard that it shrunk because the bottom part popped off. Please I need some opinions guys, should I go back to BassPro shops and ask for a exchange for something that is constructed better or am I just picky? I used it only two times! I'm afraid it might cause me problems later. Cheers, any help would be greatly appreciated.

In Topic: Anyone know any website for Ontario fishing regulations?

31 July 2008 - 03:21 PM

I was on the Ontario Government website for fishing looking up some regulations to how many fishes I could keep with my conservation license along with different species you get to keep a different amount. Length was another factor. Some location of fishes can't no be consumed too due to the dirty water. I'm just looking for a website that can help me cover some of these stuff. There's all sort of rules I want to get a better understanding before I try to take fishes from where I fish and slap it on the pan. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, my name is Tinson, I'm pretty new to fishing in general. I Live in Markham, Ontario which is fairly close to the city of Toronto. I went fishing a couple times with a friend's uncle but I slowly got into it with a couple of friends and I think it's a great hobby. I’m hoping to learn a lot of this site especially techniques to catching every type of fish. People here in this forum are very helpful and friendly which is what I like about this site so much. I hope to meet other members in this forums and share our experiences.
Cheers,
Tinson
