Frozenfire,

How do you like the 345C? I have the 343C and I'm happy with it, although it's my first fish finder so I'm not exactly an expert. Are you using an ice transducer? I just got into ice fishing last year, my equipment is list is as follows:

- 4 man Eastman Ice Cube
- Snow Trek Sled
-Coleman 318B heater
-343C Humminbird Fish Finder
-8" Normark Manual Auger
-Sub Zero Ice Cleats (come in handy if you want to keep all of your teeth)
-HT Ice picks(thankfully never had to use them but I won't venture on any ice without them being within easy grasp)

I do have a copy of the manual but the file is 334 MB, too big to email. I downloaded it off of Ares P2P but you can try searching for it on any file sharing program. The name of the file is "johnson repair manual 1971-89 outboard 1-60hp". If you can't find it, let me know.

No that year/model does not have an air filter. I think I have an electronic version of the service manual at home. If I do I'll email it to you.
