I have waayyyy too much stuff now and need to get some of this stuff out. PM me if you have any questions. Thanks.
1. BNIB Shimano Calcutta TE DC 100 Baitcaster. all the information you need about this Digital casting reel can be found here:http://fish.shimano....utta_TE_DC.html
This reel can be purchased at Le Baron through Special order only. They want $579+tax. I will let this go for $490.
2. Used (3 months) Shimano Curado 201E7 Baitcaster. all the information you need about this reel can be found here:http://fish.shimano....g/Curado_E.html This is great baitcaster and would recommend this to anyone. $220+tax at le baron, letting this go for $150 FIRM.
3. Brand New Kistler LTA I Trigger Rod. Its a 7' Medium Heavy, Fast action. For those that don't know, these are some of the strongest, and lightest rods on the market. A true high-end rod. (hence the abbreviation LTA for Lighter Than Air).
Not many stores around here carry these rods. The ones that Ive seen have them are Bass city for $249.99+tax, and I believe Fishing depot had a few for $279.99+tax.
Im letting this one go for how much I honestly paid for it: $200
More info can be found here http://www.kistlerrods.com
4. Berkley 2nd Generation Lightning Rod (6'6 medium heavy, Moderate-fast action) Great rod, had this paired up with my Curado last year. Reviews on this rod can be found on the BPS site. $42+tax at Le baron. $20 FIRM.
I am Gathering up all my Rapala baits for sale very soon. Stick around. Thanks

Depends on what you mean by weedy. usually underwater vegetation a couple feet below the surface can be a great place to throw a spinner bait/top water popper. Spinner baits will cut through some very thick hydros, and top water sticks/poppers etc will keep the bait high enough to not get snagged, and attract a lot of attention doing so.
If your talking about thick, matted weeds, lily pads, etc. Senkos and Frogs hands down. I like to have 2 rods ready for this. I usually run either a SPRO or Tru Tungsten frog slowly cross the pads and weeds. Always stop at an opening for a few seconds before continuing your retrieve. Bass train reck these guys like no tomorrow. Often times however, they will miss, or you will fail to get a proper hook set. This is when i take the Senko and drop it right into that same opening. 3/4 times that bass is going to take it.
Good Fishing!

Sorry to hear you didn't get any rainbows. May I ask you what tackle you were using? Trout have very good eyesight, and can see lines and hooks if they are too big. I recommend nothing more than 4lb diameter. If you use trebles, I recommend they are of size 12. If you cant find a size 12, you can try the size 10s or take them off Strike King Bitsy Minnows.
As for bait, Ive personally only used 3 times of bait. First is the most commonly used bait, and thats the Powerbait Trout dough. Its worked for me for years now and always go back to it if nothing else works. 2nd are those Berkley trout worms. I like to cut them in half or even thirds. And finally, something new for me this year, and ive had some very productive days using it, are the new Berkley 1" Gulp Minnows. I was using these for crappie during the fall, and to my surprise work very well with trout.
Something to try for next time Cheers
