thanks for all the feedback. I've been to the bridge at 5th and lower base. had a couple of nice carp, some small cats and nothing much else. also had 2 snapping turtles. bastards.

going back there tomorrow 6 am.

for me it used to be a memory from many years ago, catching a catfish with my dad. That's been surpassed now by a holiday a few years ago where me and my best friend helped our kids catch sunfish off a dock in Huntsville. The kids loved it.

i'm interested in any responses to this thread as I holiday in Port Stanley every year. Never taken my rods though, usually busy playing with the kids on the beach :D
