#216176 100% Guaranteed Salmon

Id be careful on guiding your secret spots...remember that anyone that you take to these spots can go fish them anytime...a big price to pay ($30 for 3 hours) to give up your favorite honey holes. Lets say you take four different guys to one of your holes. A week after they decide to go there with 2 of their buddies each...before you know it your honey hole away from the crowds isnt away from the crowds anymore. 2 years down the road your pools that were so stacked arent so stacked anymore. Not trying to deter your guiding, just pointing out how it Will effect your spots.

You are so correct.
I took it personally ... ( My Mistake).

For those who know me, i love to fish.
FAR from perfect ... LOL but do try to promote the best of the sport.

Thanks for the encouraging words, and pms sent.
Back to ignoring those who choose to be NEGATIVE.

FISH ON!

ps: More and more people are taking the inituative to CLEAN UP garbage.
Wonderful sign of things to come.
(Do it cause, if you dont... who will?)

#212150 Need of guidance

All the best spots i have found after fishing trout for 13-14 years have been found using just a map. Look for bigger rivers that connect to big water(georgian bay in my area), then go out and try some of the smaller tributaries that branch off the main river. Try to find areas where multiple smaller rivers are in an area so you'll have some variety to try. Drive around and find bridges on backroads. Often you'll see other anglers parked and fishing. Sometimes you'll have to walk a km from the road to intersect with a river, so with less anglers you might find that hidden jem that nobody else fishes. Respect no trespassing signs, leave no garbage, and have fun!
I went out to a tiny creek today and nailed a 30" rainbow!! (on panther martin spinners not flies though)

#203664 fishing in little lake

Posted by RedSkullz on 03 August 2010 - 01:31 PM

I lived on little lake for over 2 years and fished it almost every day during the season.(my uncle used to own the bigger campground) Try the south end near the creek mouth for largemouth as well as the north end in the thicker weeds. Out toward the middle there is a horseshoe shaped deep weedbed that has some big pike that seem to hang around. I estimate its about 15 feet deep. Deeper cranks will get you pike there if you can find it. You also might want to try at the mouth of willow creek off the sandbar with small tubes and cranks. If you get lucky, you will find a school of crappies.

Fav lures for largemouth:
3-4" tubes in pumpkinseed or other green
hula poppers in green or black (dusk or dawn periods)
1/2 to 1oz spinnerbaits in yellow and white

PIke Fav lures:
J-13 rapala in silver
Rebel wally demon (for the deep weedbed)

Crappie favs:
1/16 oz jigs in pink and chartreuse with the spinnerbait arm

Hope that helps! Good luck!
