Posted by Yes Lake Aquitane is a Storm Water pond, I can see it from my balcony. There is huge pressure on this pond mostly from the playground area, and I've seen alot of people keep fish out of here (I WOULD NOT KEEP ANYTHING TO EAT)
I've seen some larger carp and lots of catfish and pan-fish, there is bass in there but I haven't seen any lunkers. I've only fished it a couple of times from shore and all I've gotten are small 8inch cats and I was broken off by a carp once. I might actually think about dusting off my old belly-boat this summer and seeing what I can hook into.
Hey Bolcheck, let me know if you're down and want to join me, I can whip out my Zodiac this coming season with an electric trolling motor and we can try and see if we're able to pull out any significant bass out of there! I know there are a few lunkers in there, I've seen them lurking around the shallows during the spawning period a couple of times on the east side of the lake.
