northern H Tribs on sunday werent producing much, got one out of the three chinny i saw caught all day decided to try some creeks for resident bows on the way home, got some small specks and a few nice rainbow.

Cant wait to check out my usual huron tribs. i think this is the year i finally make a trip to a lake o trib. i know its going to be busier and such im just wondering if its worth the zoo because you all seem to catch more than i do (not a big deal if i get 1 or 2 a season i am one happy guy!!!!!)

I was targeting either really. Had a salmon on but lost it. Caught a few steel. Steel was everywhere no browns no brooks but the water was high when I was scouting. Didn't see much fish past blue water. (No I was not fishing past just scouting)

Just so everyone is aware what to look for -  overturned rocks that form an oval / circle and usually are a different color compared to the rocks in the same area.  Here are some examples.

Thanks! This is very helpful! i've been fishing for rivers for many years (14 years is a lot when you're 25 lol) and these are the things ive never been taught and the most important. I can always experiment and usually skunk out on the catching part of it and im fine with that but accidently wading through a redd i could not do and not feel some shame. So Thanks!!!!! i will watch out.
