Ok, so I have seem to have racked up more spinners then anything else in my tackle arsenal. Largely because of hearing everyone rave about how effective they are. My prob is though I have no idea how to use it effectively. I know theoretically i should be casting 45-60 degrees upstream right?and retrieving at a good speed? Not insanely fast but faster then other lure types. Thats great in theory but I fish largely petro and and credit. I see in videos ppl casting them a fair way out on much larger, well wider rivers. Prolly the width of the humber. But at credit and petro i don't have the freedom of that, so what are effective ways of using spinners in tighter spots? Also using size 1-3 spinners foro trout, should i be putting some weight on the line for casting/depth?

Got out early this morning and nabbed this guy... First trout ever.. 11lb 28" brown, needless to say i have a honey hole now *smiles*
Poor fella had 3 hooks in him, removed them and sent him on his merry way..

Hi all, heading to Niagara on Sunday and was hoping to do some trout fishing while i'm down there.. I will be around the bridge border, when the errands are done I want to try out the whirlpool, but I have no clue where it is or access point, i'm using a 11ft rod and spinning reel, any advice on terminal tackle setup?

ok guys, after a very successful day at petro I have a bag full of salmon eggs and another bag with salmon semen so I read on a post here before you could add the semen to your brine to fertilize the egss and provide a double wall. If anyone would be kind enough to run through this method for me it would be greatly appreciated, btw petro is on fire today!
