We usually go out on lake st.clair or erie mostly perch as well we actually are able to bring a fishfinder this year so hopefully we catch more variety i am hoping to land my first walleye.
My opinions to keeping fish completely depends on the area in which im catching them, for instance if i am in a pond or small body of water you would want to catch and release to keep the population and ecosystem flowing properly and provide opportunites for the next time and other fishermen. If i am in a river or lake i dont feel as obligated to catch and release. As mentioned above it is also important to take note of the body of water due to pollution.
