Hey that's really funny I live in lakeshore and I fish there next to Lilly Kazilly's all the time and what I can recommend is getting there early in the mourning and use bass baits like artificials such as: tubes, jib'n grub, and drop shot. You can even just use the minnows on the pickeral rig(spreader) which is traditionally and what everyone uses. All I can say is get there in the morning.I am new to this fourm and im not to sure where and if we can post pictures.
Anyway Ive always fished from shore as I dont have a boat which I would love to have. All we catch from shore is junkie fish like Sheephead and Channel Cat.
I was out at my spot last sunday and though I had a bunch of weeds so I went to set the hook to see and bam I hooked this thing. We had no net so had to walk it around to the beach area and lift it out.
10 lb Sheephead!!!
