Well just got home from a great day on the Geen.....even if i did find myself smack dab in the middle of a Derby......lol
And caught my first Steelhead EVER!....no pics, no proof....just my solemn word of honour.....and it was a beautiful thing, The very helpful angler beside me told me it was a 4 or 5 pounder.
And yes i did release it......even though it would have been great to bring home and EAT IT
I am absolutely giddy about getting my new waders in the water on Saturday morning......My first real steelhead outing and I will be surrounded by help....what more could a noobie ask for
I must say i am truly stoked to be getting out for my first autumn Fishing adventure

Spent last night pre tying some florocarbon as i expect to have cold fingers out there
I am leaving London around 2 am Sat morning planning on arriving by 5 am, will be bringing along my Bro in law hope that is not a problem,
