Reel Care and Maintenance?

Hey Everybody,

I was just wondering how I apply reel lubrication to my Abu Garcia spinning reel. I was also wondering how you clean sand out of your reel. I was fishing on a beach and placed my rod down next thing I knew I had sand all in my reel. I know dumb move but you learn from your mistakes I guess.

Hope to hear some responses.

14 Footer with Downriggers?

Just wondering if anybody has ever put downriggers on a 14 foot aluminum boat? I ask because I have an old 14 foot aluminum boat that I want to turn into an all around fishing boat. I understand that it is only 14 feet so you are limited to what you can do, but I still would not mind trying. Any suggestions on other mods I can make too would be welcome?

Fishing Near Bon Echo

Hey Everybody

I am going camping next week all week at Bon Echo provincial park. The closet town is Cloyne. It is Southeast of Bancroft and Northwest of Kingston. I need some tips on how people are doing this year in that area, where some of the hotspots are and what baits I should use? I will do a fish report when I get home. If you need anymore information to try and help me just ask.

Going Fishing Tomorrow

Hey Everybody

I am going fishing on Lake Erie tomorrow and when I get back I will give you a fishing report. Our schedule is to fish for Perch Friday afternoon and evening. Fish for Bows and Eyes all day Saturday and fish for Bows and Eyes half of the day Sunday. I will try and get the report up as soon as possible when I get back with hopefully some pictures.

Cameras for Filming your Fishing Adventures

Hey Everybody. I was just wondering what you guys are using to film your fishing outings? Is it just your ordinary handheld video camera or a GoPro / Contour style helmet cam? I personally have a Contour helmet cam, but have not been able to get out and use it to film any of my fishing yet (hopefully soon). If any of you have fishing video I would love to see it ! (I know most of you probably do)
