I have great luck just wrapping bread around a hook, throw a couple splitshots on there and away ya go!!! I use white bread for carp, whole wheat works good too and you'll get the odd catfish using whole wheat bread.

Im from London, the Thames in my area anyway is FULL of good size carp.............They put up an amazing fight for sure.

I find the pike at bends in the river usually, or if a bunch of walleye are around. Hope that helps a bit bro.

They still have some at dollarama's in the Tool section..........Im in London, the dollarama in the citymall had spinners, and some other stuff still on Friday.

But the main seasonal isle where most of the fishing stuff had been was cleared out.

I had a wicked popper that caught me a bunch of Smallie's....best $1.50 ive ever spent!!!

Hey man, I had great luck in the thames this year. Im in the West end, I mainly fish around springbank park/storybook gardens area. Ive caught a bunch of smallmouth on Jigs mostly......crawfish pumkinseed color, or dual tail power grubs. Caught a bunch of walleye on the same jigs in the same area. Caught a 28 inch pike as well with the above set up. I catch carp with white bread(I like it better than corn) and caught a bunch of catfish as well using whole wheat bread.

Some seriously good fishing in the western end of London.

The thames River in London Ontario does in fact have quit a few catfish, Ive had great luck this year. I fish around storybook gardens area. I use whole wheat bread mostly, or chicken livers.

Give'r a try man, they don't get that big I guess......2 footlong or so.
