Sunday's sermon on Isaiah 63:1-6 is coming along very slowly. I was hoping my brain would be clearer today than yesterday, but it is still pretty sluggish and fuzzy. Working out helped for a little while, but now I am stuck again. Maybe another quick workout will help. I think I have an 8 minute one I can do.

Severe rain coming down here right now. Some thunder off in the distance. It is raining and blowing so hard the visibility is like it is snow blowing.

So the wait goes on for the new to me truck. It was almost done today, but when they did their final check it threw a code for an O2 sensor, so that needs to be replaced before the e-test. Tomorrow maybe, although I don't know if I have the time to get out tomorrow. We will see.

After the repairs to deal with the flooding in our basement last year, although everything was put back in place, the soil settled leaving the front walk and front step sunk down. Today I took the first step to deal with that by jacking up the concrete slab that is the front step. I no longer is at a huge slant, although there is still some slant toward the front porch. I back filled with gravel, so hopefully there will not be a lot of settling from the rain. I'm glad step number one is finis...

We were are the market in London so I thought we would stop by to see how progress is going on the truck. It will not be ready until Monday afternoon as they are busy and taking their time to make sure I am satisfied. That makes me happy with their service. So far they have replaced the tires and the brakes front and rear. No surprise on either for me. Now they are working on some other things.

Beautiful sunny morning. I think I will get on the bike and hit the roads for a while before the possible thunderstorms come this afternoon.

Put a deposit on a truck today. Should be ready to go by Friday or Saturday.

Van is fixed. It was the ignition coil. So $312 dollars later, I can walk down and get the van so I can start packing it up again so we can get out once my wife and son are home.

What year/make? Mine is at 313,000km, hasn't broken yet, and that's with a lot of heavy towing all over Canada.
