Water was high, but still about 10" or so of visibility. Hooked in to a few small 6" trout but no steelies. And stopped at Sail they have a large fly fishing section definitely worth checking out.

Thank you, would you happen to know a fly shop i could stop at on the way there? I need a few leaders.

Took a walk this morning to a closed creek i've been keeping an eye on. And found it to be almost perfectly clear ! Saw tons of chrome and a few darker ones  ! Just keep telling myself two more weekends !

Well maybe a dumb question, but still new to fly fishing. Are you just casting that wooly bugger and letting it sit out there? Or like a slow retrieval?

I know there's a few of them on here ! I caught the fever about 2 years ago, i hope i never find a cure !
