I am not sure we need this profile star rating anyway. Members can already upvote posts which generate reputation points. I will remove it when I find a moment. 

I removed a few of those today, and banned the accounts. 

The premium membership plans are now available for sale. You can buy them through the Store tab in the top menu area, or by just following this link:

The optional premium membership provides the following upgrades to standard member account:

• Removes all advertising banners from the forum
• Increased private message storage to 500 messages
• Attachment space increased to 200MB
• Gallery space increased to 250MB
• Avatar size 150x150
• Custom user title
• Directions to hot spots

We will use the funds to cover hosting costs, and to fund prizes for meetups and forum contests. 

Few more changes have been made:

- 'The Lodge' was changed to be visible to registered members only. Visitors will not be able to read any of the posted topics there.

I will be adding advertising banners to the forum in the next few days. I don't expect anyone to get excited about that news, but it is needed to help us with the hosting costs as the traffic grows. 

Here are the details:

Active members with over 250 posts, who call this place home will not see any advertising. Registered members will only see limited amount of ads (header/footer). The majority of ads will be shown to one time visitors to the forum, who never register, and usually never come back, finding us through google searches.

I just want to add, that when I was reviewing his rude posts and the responses that followed, I was nicely surprised how welcoming members of this forum are. Some of his posts were clearly derogatory and inflammatory, yet in the responses that followed people were trying to be nice and take it as a joke. I am glad to be part of this forum.

do we want a dedicated app where we could upload photos and create albums? It would work like the 'Videos' section. 

Thanks, I am glad you like it. Leakywaders noticed that the 'Recent Posts' box was removed. The 'Recent Posts' is not supported by the new software. I may be able to find a workaround, in the meantime click on the 'View New Content' link, just above the 'Recent Topics' box.
