Hi all, 

seeing if anyone is interested in a Redington Voyant 6WT fly rod.  Bought it last year but no longer use it as I have a 3/5/8wt now.

Asking for $60.  Will come in Redington Rod/Reel tube case.

Located in Stouffville in the evenings and Vaughan during weekdays.

Normally I've been fly fishing but decided to try my hand at float fishing.

Picked up a Okuma Raw 2 and a Shimano Clarus 11.6" rod to get started.

I spent a good hour or so learning to cast and out of no where this beauty took my roe bag I had tied and ran.  What a fight! I probably would have broke her off pretty quick but a nice gentleman that was fishing near us walked me through of things not to do on a centerpin.  Was able to land her, took a quick pic of my first ever bow and we let her go.  

Well plans changed again so now I'm going to a local east trib to do a little fly fishing but it just finished raining.  Anything I should be doing differently after the rain?  Normally I have great luck in the afternoon using some bh copper/black nymphs.  On cloudy days I have tried everything in my fly box and had average luck.  I've never been out after rainfall.

Hi All, 

I'm pretty new to fly fishing but I'm having a blast and don't know why I didn't start earlier, I'm so addicted that somehow I ended up with a 4wt,5wt,6wt and 8wt rods and reels.

Need to really work on my casting but it's getting better.
