I noticed that as well - it's not that I have anything against people keeping fish, as long as it is done in accordance to the guidelines and with a great deal of respect and thoughtfulness of the resource you're using. I myself keep fish, however it's not a every trip thing, or an insane quantity. I see no problem with it as long as it is within the reg's and in moderation. Also I've noticed more than one member with these kind of pics up as well. I'd never post a pic of a "dead fish" maybe it's just me, but I prefer the live shot, or release shot. Anyways that's my 2 cents.

No Jail time hefty fines from the ministry or at least according to the Officer it was ($500), and the criminal charge was a year probation, community service and a criminal conviction. I just hate seeing people take advantage of our resources and I mean I couldn't keep quiet while they were poaching in a sanctuary. Guess I kinda have a big mouth that way.

Seen one of these on an Eastern trib last year, pulled it out of the side of a chinny - not a coho but still equally as disgusting. I hate confronting them face to face because of a steelhead incident last year where 3 guys were poaching I threatened to call the MNR, and got my nose broke.... did I learn my lesson, nope... I hate confronting them but still do it Good news is the 3 loogans I dealt with all faced poaching and fishing without a license charges as well a the nose breaker being found guilty of criminal charge of assault. Guess my theory (dumb as it may be) is we have to do whatever we can to protect our resources..

I know for kayaks at Sail they sell "portable pontoons" to attach to them so that you can stand up for fly fishing purposes or what not.

I think you're all starting in the right direction with "iron-ons" however; my one concern .. and it always happens (trust me I've witnessed it with various companies and groups including "conservation groups") Is somebody with one of these patches goes out and acts like an idiot.. littering, keeping more than their limit, poaching or whatnot; and leaves a bad image for all who frequent this forum. I'd hate to have people look negatively at me because of somebody else who was wearing the same patch.
