its actually a jdm lure rod , .5-2.5 oz , 10' . the reel is my smallest spinner at the 3500 size.

cut off the splinter area with a fine saw, like a jewellers saw (or similar) then epoxy it together into a 1pc rod.

nvm then, i have a setup but its about 5x that budget. that i was deciding to probably unload.

how high quality rod and reel do you want? like budget wise..
