In Topic: HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO.......

While trolling on Rice Lake about 15 years ago with some friends I snagged one of my fathers Rapala minnows; one he has had for 30+ years. There was no way I could simply cut off this lure; and Rice Lake being shallow in the weedy bays, I went over board and was able to retrieve it from the base of the weeds :)

There is nothing wrong with keeping and enjoying a nice catch; the problem is greed. I myself practice strict catch and release (my camera and GoPro preserve the experience and fun more than consumption and mounting) and believe catch limits are very high overall.

Impossible to pick one, IMO.

I always take the following lures with me:

-Daredevil Spoons (Red/White & Yellow/Diamonds)

-Yamamoto Senko's (Green Pumpkin & Chartreuse Black Flake)

-Booyah Pikee Spinner

-Mepps Agilia (assorted)

-Rapala Original Minnow (Firetiger)
